Cinema Soleil – The sounds we carry / Listening Experience

The Sounds We Carry is a listening experience built around one question: how does sound carry a story, a culture and a memory?
This is not a film screening. There is no lecture. The Sundiata Film is the starting point, but you do not need to have seen it to be part of this afternoon. Your own listening experience is enough.
King Ketelby James, the sound designer behind The Sundiata Film by Christian Saint, opens up his creative process for the room. Not to teach but to share. The session moves in one direction: from James sharing his craft, to the room recognizing their own experience in it, to a collective conversation that belongs to everyone.
Cinema Soleil invites people to watch. The Sounds We Carry invites people to listen and to participate.
