Culture lives in the ways we gather, move and care for one another.

Home to Body, Home to Rooh is an invitation to experience culture as a living practice. Across generations and geographies, communities have gathered through movement, music and shared meals to reconnect with themselves, with one another and with their surroundings.

As part of FOR THE CULTURE, this workshop shifts the focus from observing culture to embodying it. Through Sunrise Flow Kemetic Yoga, Yin Yoga, somatic practices, sound and reflection, we explore the body as a place where memory, identity and collective care are carried and shared.

The morning concludes with a shared Levantine mezze, where food becomes another language for conversation, hospitality and exchange. Participants are invited to bring their own experiences into the space, while sharing always remains optional.

Home to Body, Home to Rooh offers a moment to slow down, reconnect and remember that culture is not only something we inherit or create but it is also something we practise together.

PROGRAMME
10:00 – 11:00 | Arrival & Connection
Welcome with drinks & bites, collective drawing, gentle movement and connection exercises. Participants also learn three accessible nervous system regulation tools inspired by trauma-informed practices.

11:00 – 12:30 | Coming Home to the Body
• Sunrise Flow – Kemetic Yoga (30 min)
• The Body as Archive – Yin Yoga & Somatic Inquiry (45 min)
• Vibration as Medicine – Sound Journey (25 min)

12:30 – 14:00 | Levant Mezze & Community Table
We close around a shared Levant mezze with space for reflection, conversation and integration.
